Extend a stay or renew a temporary residence from inside Chile

Holders of Permanencia Transitoria in Chile can extend it once, for up to 90 days, by applying online before the original period ends. Temporary residents can apply to renew during the last 90 days of their permit. People on Permanencia Transitoria generally cannot apply for residence from inside Chile, apart from listed exceptions.
