Visit to the Federated States of Micronesia

30 days without a permit; entry permit for longer stays

The FSM does not require visas. The FSM Embassy in Washington says a valid passport, sufficient funds and proof of onward travel are enough for entry for 30 days, and that under the amended Compact of Free Association US citizens need only a valid passport. Visits longer than 30 days need an FSM entry permit from the Division of Immigration. Entry permits can last up to one year for citizens of the US, Palau and the Marshall Islands, but no more than 90 days for other nationals.
