Short-term C category ordinary visa (e-Visa) for tourism
Many nationalities can visit Georgia visa-free, most for a full year. Holders of a valid visa or residence permit from listed countries (such as the US, UK, Schengen states and some Gulf states) can also enter visa-free for 90 days in any 180. Others need a short-term C category visa, which can be applied for online through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs e-Visa portal or at a Georgian consulate. From 1 January 2026 every tourist must have health and accident insurance.
