Guernsey Employment Permit (immigration) with Population Management permit
STEP/LTEP
Non-British, non-Irish nationals need immigration permission to take employment in the Bailiwick of Guernsey under the Employment Permit Policy (from 3 April 2023). Separately, everyone who is not locally qualified needs a Population Management permit, such as a Short Term Employment Permit (STEP) or Long Term Employment Permit (LTEP), applied for by employers through the Population Portal. Alderney, Sark and Herm have their own employment permit policy.
