Visit to Haiti

90-day courtesy stay or visitor visa from a Haitian mission

The Embassy of Haiti in Canada says Canadian citizens staying less than 90 days do not need a visa in advance; entry formalities are handled on arrival by Haitian immigration at any international airport or land border. Nationals of some other countries need a visitor visa from a Haitian embassy or consulate. Anyone staying beyond the 90-day courtesy stay must apply to the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration for a long-stay permit before the 90 days end. Haiti is going through a severe security crisis, and travel is extremely risky.
