EU Blue Card

The EU Blue Card lets non-EU nationals live in Hungary and work in a job needing high-level qualifications. Applicants need a contract or preliminary agreement of at least 6 months and a monthly salary of at least HUF 1,001,048 in 2026 (HUF 800,838 for listed health occupations), plus tertiary qualifications or, for executives and ICT specialists, 3 years of relevant experience in the last 7. The application covers the D visa; the employer may apply through Enter Hungary with the worker's consent.
