Tourist visa via Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), with extensions

Tourist and business visitors to Sri Lanka apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) on the official eta.gov.lk site. The tourist ETA allows double entry for 30 days. Nationals of 40 listed countries, plus Maldives, Seychelles and Singapore, get the tourist ETA free of charge but must still apply before arrival. Stays beyond 30 days need a paid extension from the Department of Immigration and Emigration.
