Tourist visa and entry as a visitor
Mauritius admits tourists for short holidays; the Passport and Immigration Office says up to six months in a calendar year may be granted case by case. Some travellers need a visa before travel, applied for through a Mauritian embassy or consulate, while EU passport holders and some others are exempt. The immigration officer at the port of entry decides whether to admit you and for how long.
