Oman tourist visas

14-day visa-free entry, free 14-day tourist visa, unsponsored tourist visa, one-year visit visa

Visitors from more than 100 countries can enter Oman without a visa for up to 14 days if they meet set conditions. Since 3 August 2026, there has also been a free 14-day tourist visa for designated nationalities. It can be swapped for another tourist visa before it expires. Other tourists usually apply online to the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for the unsponsored tourist visit visa. A one-year multiple-entry visit visa is also available to some nationalities. GCC citizens do not need visas.

    Show a passport valid six months or more, a return ticket, a confirmed hotel booking, health insurance and enough money for the stay.

    Nationals of the listed countries need a passport valid for at least six months, a return ticket, a confirmed hotel booking, health insurance and enough money for the stay. Nationals on the second list must also live in, or hold a valid visa for, the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, a Schengen country or Japan, or live in a GCC country in an eligible occupation.
