French Polynesia work authorisation and foreign trader card
French Polynesia is a French overseas collectivity with its own employment rules. Anyone without French nationality, including EU nationals, needs a work authorisation obtained by the employer from the Cellule protection du marché du travail (SEFI). Non-EU self-employed traders need a foreign trader card. The work authorisation is a prerequisite for the residence permit issued by the French State.
