Palau 30-day tourist visa on arrival (extendable to 90 days), Palau Pledge and environmental fee

The Palau Visitors Authority (a government agency) says visitors do not need a visa in advance: a 30-day tourist visa is issued on arrival and can be extended twice for US$50 each, up to 90 days in total. Citizens of the US, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands receive a 1-year visa on arrival, reflecting Compact of Free Association ties. Citizens of Myanmar and Bangladesh need a pre-approved visa. Every visitor signs the Palau Pledge on arrival, and a US$100 Pristine Paradise Environmental Fee is included in international tickets to Palau.
