Tourist entry (visa-free or consular non-resident visa) with in-country extension

Paraguay's migration office publishes a country-by-country table showing who needs a consular visa to enter as a tourist. Mercosur members and associates (for example Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador) do not need a visa, and many other nationals can stay up to 90 days without one. Others must get a non-resident visa from a Paraguayan consulate before travel. Tourists can ask the National Directorate of Migration (DNM) for one extension of their temporary stay.
