Education residence visa for students
Qatar · Official name: Educational Residence Visa (Ministry of Interior)
Expatriate students with a place at an approved educational institution in Qatar can ask the Ministry of Interior's Committee Reviewing Recruitment Applications to approve an educational residence visa. Hukoomi states the visa is issued free of charge, through the Expatriates Affairs and Unified Services Centres. Qatar University runs its own track: international students without a Qatari residence permit (except GCC students) apply for a student visa sponsored by the university. After arrival, students complete the medical examination and receive a Qatar ID (QID), which is the proof of legal residence.

Travellers aged 9 months and over arriving from a yellow fever risk country need a valid yellow fever certificate.
