Work Residence Permit (RP) – employer-sponsored
Foreign nationals who want to live and work in Qatar need a Work Residence Permit sponsored by a Qatari employer, which can be a company or an individual. The employer gets a labour recruitment approval from the Ministry of Labour, then a work visa from the Ministry of Interior. After arrival, the worker does the medical exam and fingerprints, and the visa becomes a residence permit (QID).
