Long-stay employment visa (D/AM1, D/AM2) via the WorkinRomania single application
replaces the aviz de munca
Romania replaced the employer work permit (aviz de angajare) with a single application filed on the WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform under Emergency Ordinance 32/2026, in force 27 April 2026. Highly qualified and some special categories get a D/AM1 visa on the employer's application. Permanent, seasonal and cross-border workers get a D/AM2 visa via an authorised placement agency or authorised employer, only in shortage occupations and within the annual quota.
