Slovenian citizenship by naturalisation
Regular naturalisation requires at least ten years of residence in Slovenia, including five continuous years before applying. Spouses of Slovenian nationals can apply after three years of marriage and one year of continuous residence. Applicants generally must show release from their previous citizenship, with exceptions such as EU citizens where reciprocity exists.
