Non-Immigrant ED (education) visa, Thailand

Official name: Non-Immigrant Visa 'ED' (and 'ED Plus' for degree students)

The Non-Immigrant ED visa is for full-time study at public or private institutions in Thailand, and for internships or training with government or international organisations. You need an acceptance letter on the institution's letterhead with a copy of its licence; lower-level schools (other than international schools) also need approval from the Ministry of Education. Embassies set their own funds and police certificate rules. 'ED Plus' is for students at bachelor's level or above and lets them leave and re-enter without a re-entry permit during studies.
