Tourist Visa (TR) for tourism and leisure, via Thai e-Visa

Thailand's Tourist Visa (TR) is for tourism, leisure, short family visits and similar activities, with a stay of up to 60 days per entry. Applications are made online through the official Thai e-Visa website run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and decided by the Thai embassy or consulate covering your location. Many nationalities do not need a visa: a revised visa exemption scheme in 2026 gives 54 countries 30 days visa-free and a few others 15 days, visa on arrival or bilateral exemptions.
