Türkiye student visa and student residence permit

öğrenci ikamet izni

Students admitted to a Turkish higher-education institution generally get a student or education visa from a Turkish mission. After registering at the institution, they apply for a student residence permit. Since November 2023 the documents are usually submitted through the university's student office. Students on associate or bachelor's programmes may work with a work permit after their first year. Postgraduate students do not have this restriction.
