Spouse and family of a Tunisian citizen
Tunisian law gives several facilities to foreign spouses of Tunisians. Foreign wives of Tunisians and parents of Tunisian children can receive the ordinary residence card. Spouses of Tunisians have their own employment-contract category with the Ministry of Employment. Visa fees are halved for a foreign spouse once the marriage is registered in Tunisian civil records.

Eligibility
Ordinary residence
Ordinary residence visa and card may be issued to foreign women married to Tunisians and to foreigners with Tunisian children (Loi n° 68-7, art. 13; Décret n° 68-198, art. 18).
Visa fee reduction
Show proof that your marriage contract was filed in Tunisian civil-status registers to get a reduced visa fee as a foreign spouse.

Regularisation fee exemption
The Finance Minister may exempt spouses of Tunisians and their children from the status-regularisation fee, subject to the same marriage-registration proof (Décret n° 2017-1061, art. 8).
