Transient worker visa
Transeúnte Laboral, TR-L
To work in Venezuela, a foreigner needs a TR-L visa. The employer or worker first applies to the Ministry of Labour (Ministerio del Poder Popular para el Proceso Social del Trabajo) for a work permit, and the Ministry of the Interior then authorises the visa. The visa is granted for one year with multiple entries and a stay of the same length, and is renewed through SAIME with a valid labour authorisation.
