Bermuda visitor entry

visa-free for most, UK/US/Canada multi re-entry visa for listed nationalities

Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory but runs its own immigration system through the Department of Immigration. A UK visa does not on its own give entry. Most visitors do not need a Bermuda visa. Since 11 August 2023, nationals of countries listed in Bermuda's Prohibition of Entry Order must hold a multi re-entry visa (MRV) for the UK, the US or Canada to visit.

Eligibility

  • Visa-controlled nationalities need a UK, US or Canada MRV

    Show a valid UK, US or Canada multi re-entry visa if your country is listed in Order Gn07542023.

    Travellers from countries listed in Order Gn07542023 must present a valid multi re-entry visa for the UK, US or Canada. This applies from 11 August 2023.

    Make sure your MRV and passport stay valid for 45 days after your authorised stay ends.

    Visitors cannot take up employment in Bermuda without a work permit.
