Transitory stay for tourism or visits
up to 30 or 60 days
Bolivia's General Directorate of Migration (DIGEMIG) grants a transitory stay (permanencia transitoria) for tourism or visits of up to 30 or 60 days, processed at land borders and airports. Travellers who need a visa must first get a tourism or visit consular visa. US citizens have a special tourism or visit entry authorisation costing US$160, available at migration offices, border posts and airports. Fees are set in UFVs, an inflation-indexed unit, so the amount in bolivianos changes daily.

Yellow fever certificate needed after a stay in countries with risk of yellow fever transmission (WHO list)
Travellers aged 1 year and over arriving from a yellow fever risk country need a valid yellow fever certificate.
