Most foreign nationals can visit Hong Kong without a visa for a set period that depends on nationality, usually 7, 14, 30, 90 or 180 days. Indian nationals must complete a free online pre-arrival registration for a 14-day visa-free visit. People from countries that always need a visa, or who want to stay longer than their visa-free period, must get a visit visa or entry permit from the Immigration Department (ImmD) or a Chinese diplomatic mission before travelling.
