Entry for study
student visa/entry permit
Non-local students admitted to a full-time locally-accredited post-secondary programme, certain part-time taught postgraduate programmes, exchanges, registered non-local courses, or private primary and secondary schools can apply to the Immigration Department (ImmD) for a study visa. Each applicant needs a local sponsor, which can be the institution. Students may not work except for approved internships and, for full-time local undergraduates and above, limited part-time and summer work.
