Registration Card (carte d'immatriculation) marked "étudiant"
Under Law No. 02-03 on the entry and stay of foreigners, a foreigner over 18 who stays in Morocco beyond 90 days must hold a registration card. A foreigner who shows they are following a course or studies in Morocco and have sufficient means of support receives a card marked "étudiant". The card is issued for 1 to 10 years depending on the reason for the stay and is renewable. Issue can be made conditional on a long-stay visa (over three months).
