Visa of the foreign employee's work contract (contrat de travail d'étranger, via TAECHIR) and carte d'immatriculation

Moroccan law requires an employer that hires a foreign employee to obtain authorisation from the labour ministry, given as a visa stamped on the work contract. Applications are made by the employer through the ministry's TAECHIR online platform, usually with an ANAPEC certificate showing no suitable national candidate. Once the contract is approved, the worker applies for a carte d'immatriculation (residence card) marked with the authorised activity.
