Non-Immigrant O visa for family of Thai nationals or foreign residents

Official name: Non-Immigrant Visa 'O' (Thai spouse/family; dependants of foreigners in Thailand)

The Non-Immigrant O visa lets spouses, children under 20 and parents of Thai nationals, and dependants of foreigners working or studying in Thailand, enter to stay with family. Applications go through the Thai e-Visa portal for the embassy covering where you live. A single-entry O visa is usually valid for three months and gives a stay of up to 90 days, which can then be extended at the Immigration Bureau. Financial proof differs by embassy (for example THB 400,000 in savings or THB 40,000 monthly income at the Rome embassy for family of Thais).
