Visitor Visa (and visa-exempt entry) for tourism and short visits
Taiwan's Visitor Visa, issued by the Bureau of Consular Affairs (BOCA) through Taiwan's overseas missions, is for stays of up to six months for tourism, family visits, business and similar purposes. Many nationalities can enter visa-free for 90, 30 or 14 days instead. Citizens of India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam can apply online for a Travel Authorization Certificate from the National Immigration Agency if they meet its conditions. Holders of emergency passports from visa-exempt countries can get a 30-day landing visa at certain airports.
