Resident card (carte de résident) for non-ECOWAS foreigners
Foreigners living in Côte d'Ivoire apply for a resident card through ONECI, the national civil registration and identification office. Online pre-enrolment is mandatory, followed by an appointment at an ONECI agency. Supporting documents depend on the reason for stay, such as work, study, trade, retirement or religious life. While the card is pending, ONECI can issue a provisional attestation for administrative needs.
